This law formulates the cooperation between US and foreign courts in international bankruptcies to protect assets and save companies. Part of both Title 11 in the US bankruptcy code and the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005. It is based on the UN’s Model Law on CrossBorder Insolvency promulgated.
