In Scotch practice. A ( lending put into writing before the lord ordinary, as the ground of his judgment. Bell. In business law. Memoranda or notes of a transaction or proceeding. Thus, the record of the proceedings at a meeting of directors or shareholders of a company is called the “minutes.”
