CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

This term applies to a person who has joined with other people in defending a legal action.

CORNERING THE MARKET

This term is applied when the majority of a particular commodity is bought on the market and is then sold for a higher price.

COMMISSION TO TAKE DEPOSITIONS

the authority that is given to a commission to take a testimony from witnesses who can’t be personally produced to the court.
