OPEN HEARING

the name of an investigation that is open to the public and is not a closed.

MOOT

a term that means an open question, or a thing that is debateable, unsettled or subject to argument.

FRAUD ORDER

an order given by the post master general to return mail to the sender who is using mail to defraud.

INSIDER

the term that describes a director or officer of a corporation or the person with at least 10% of the stock.

PARTY TO BE CHARGED

a term that is applied to the person who an accusation is brought against them in court or a person who is forced to fulfill an agreement.

HALFWAY HOUSE

the name given to a house for people moving back in to society from a jail or other institution.

CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY

an expression that is used for the carrier who applies for a license to operate vehicles commercially along a route or highway.

PROFFER

a term that is used for an offer or to offer.

REMEDY OVER

This the person who is responsible for damage or an act but who can blame someone else for it.

CONSUL GENERAL

This term is applied to the officer of the government who will preside over a consulate of his government in a foreign country.

COMMON BELIEF

This term is applied to an opinion that is held by the majority of the people in a community. The belief is often true but there are instances when it is not

DISORDER MENTAL

This term applies to any mental disease caused by an emotional illness or is organic in origin.

KANGAROO COURT

the name that is given to an unauthorised court that is set up without legal power and authority that takes the law into its own hands.

ALTERCATION

This applies to all trials where witnesses are examined. In usual usage it applies to a dispute or a fight.

REQUEST FOR DISMISSAL

a term for asking the court to terminate or dismiss a case. usually asked for by the attorney for the defendant.

FUTURE RIGHT

right that will happen in the future and in accordance with provisions and stipulations of an existing contract.
