HOOK

An offer or jingle that gets the attention of the audience. It makes them listen to the proposed value.

A website that is an entry for other firm sites in the same type of industry. Refer to vertical portal.

HOSTING

Giving website housing for other firms or parties. Storage is rented as well as back up and maintenance services to work with the traffic.

HACKER

A programmer that breaks into accounts to get access for the thrill of it. It is criminal action and can be altering, stealing, or taking funds.

HAND LUGGAGE

The bags a passenger can carry on a seating cabin. It is not checked in. It is restricted.

HARD BENEFIT

An increase in profit or savings due to implementation of a program or project.

HARD WATER

Water that becomes scum and scale. It interferes with the industrial process. It is alkaline because of small amounts of inorganic compounds from soil and rocks. It can be temporary and dissolved
