CONSENSUAL

A contract that can be oral or written and is agreed to by the parties involved.

CONSENSUS

The middle ground between agreeing and disagreeing. The participants share a value and goal and work to get that goal to get a decision made. Refer to collective responsibility.

CONSENSUS FORECAST

A forecast that different departments add their forecast to, to reflect all levels of management.

CONSENSUS-BASED FORECAST

A forecast that uses previous forecasts. All are given equal weight as are their assumptions. It is a broad estimate. Refer to delphi method.

CONSENT RESOLUTION

When an agreement is made though a manner that doesn’t require face to face interaction. The solution is simply signed and settled.
