PLIMSOLL MARK

Any digital recording, such as news, music or media that can be run on your computer or on a media player such as the iPod. Podcasts are usually downloaded through the internet.

A slightly higher platform than the standard ground, from where people can see the person who is giving the speech.

A feature common in graphical user interfaces, allowing people to view an ainmation after clicking a certain point on the screen.

A kind of a passive contract made primarily for the licensing of downloaded software. Usually, after reading the agreement, the user must click on the ‘I agree.” area.

POINT AND FIGURE (P&F) CHART

A chart which is made to show the fluctuations in bond prices, prices of commodities, stocks and the like. Time is ignored in this chart. The primary focus lies on changes. Hence,

A prediction made on the basis of general math, usually restricted to a singular value.

A marketing display set at the point where maximum sales are made; useful for promotional campaigns, etc.
