AMOUNT DUE

The total money due for a good or service to be paid at the due date.

AMOUNT OUTSTANDING AND IN CIRCULATION

All currency the mint issues to be used as exchange. Coins are sold at a premium that are not included. The uncirculted coin are sold at face value and handling charges.

AMOUNT REALIZED

The actual amount a good or service is sold for. Or a fair market value that an exchange costs. It is used for tax purposes.

AMPERE (A)

A metric unit for electric current. It is the current flowing through one volt for one ohm. It is named after the scientist who discovered it Andre Marie Ampare.

AMPLITUDE

The most an oscillation can change equilibrium. It is the difference between the zero and peak of any wave.

AMPLITUDE MODULATION (AM)

Broadcasting signals that don’t travel far. It is imposed on a carrier wave with a signal that gets better or worse when the amplitude. Refer to frequency modulation.

A train service started in 1971 that is operated by the national railroad passenger corporation. It was needed after a decline in passenger train services. Its regulated by the government. It is

Any life form that doesnt need oxygen to live.

ANAEROBIC

Anything not needing oxygen and may be harmed by it. An example of this is bacteria. Spelled anerobic sometimes. Refer to aerobic.

ANALOG

1. an occurance that has varied activity. 2. anything that looks like like an original item.

ANALOG COSTING

Deciding cost of similar items and factors to reconsile the differences between them. AKA analog cost estimating.

ANALYZE

Taking a single item and figuring out reasons for differences in the numbers.

ANCHOR TENANT

The first shopping center that attracts others and the customers associated with them. The rent is lower for this tenant.

ANCHORING BIAS

Basing judgment on a situation that has nothing to do with the current issue.

ANCILLARY GUARANTY

A bond where the guarantor is a cosigner of a contract. They have more rights and can challenge payment demands. They are illegal in the US but common in the UK. AKA

An operater that finds records if it has all the words specified in the search. Refer to not and or.

AND INTEREST

A term in bond price that means interest is not included in the figure yet. The buyer will get the interest on top of the value.

ANDON BOARD

A Japanese term for any visual aid production device. It shows the changing status of a production line. Alerts are sounded if anything goes wrong.

ANESTHETIC

A drug that causes loss of sensation. This loss can be total or partial. If overexposed side effects can occur and even death in severe cases.

ANGELS

A high risk investor that likes new acquisitions that seem to be profitable. They have experience and help on the board.
