Any party that is a rival. It can be a company. It helps keep prices low and products efficient.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

Identifying the competitions weakness and strength and using that your firm’s advantage in the market.

COMPILER

A programming language processor whose job is to translate other languages into machine language. It helps programs run faster.

COMPLACENT

The state of being unmotivated to move position or attitude.

COMPLEMENTARY DEMAND

The product’s demand that is predicted by another similar product. AKA joint demand. Refer to complementary product.

COMPLEMENTARY GOOD

An asset that is bought in amounts of more than one. An example of this is a tire. AKA complementary product.

COMPLETE LIQUIDATION

Transferring all assets of a company to shareholders assuming responsiblity for them. It helps pay off matters and debts.

COMPLETE SHIPMENT

A shipment tht is sent by a beneficiary of a L/C to fulfill its requirements.

COMPLETE TREATMENT

Treating water with chemicals, flash mixing, coagulation flucculation, sedimentation, and filtration. This is done in stages.

COMPLETED CONTRACT METHOD

Completing a task in more than one accounting period. It is considered in the total cost of finishing the job. The profits are uncertain. The profits are only present when the contract

COMPLETELY DENATURED ALCOHOL (CDA)

Ethyl Alcohol that is not drinkable because methanol is added to it. It is expemt from the duty placed on a drinkable alcohol. Refer to specially dentaured alcohol.

COMPLETION

When the project itself repays the loans. Before a contract is done the sponsor is the source of cash flow.

COMPLETION BOND

A fund set up for companies with schedules to finish but don’t have the funds to finish. Both building and entertainment industries are on these types of bonds.

COMPLETION GUARANTEE

A sponsor that promises a lender coverage on the risky phases of a project. They promise to finish on time and pay for over runs.
