What is COGNITIVE FILTERS?

A person’s biases that influence the choice to selectively accept or reject ideas and impressions. This choice comes on as currently held assumptions and beliefs that form the basis of their conformance. In situations of uncertainty that is higher than what the circumstances warrant., these biases tend create a feeling of certainty with no basis.
