What is UPPER EXPLOSIVE LIMIT (UEL)?

Highest concentration of a vapor or gas in air that is able to be ignited by an ignition source. Higher concentrations are ‘too rich’ to burn. Also known as upper flammable limit. See lower explosive limit.
