PROXY SERVER Definition & Legal Meaning

This is a server that acts as a firewall between an internal server and an external server. For example a company will use a proxy server to the internet so its original location is protected. All external attempts to access the company will be refused by the proxy server unless they have been allowed by the internal server. 2. A server outside of a network that stores data that is accessed frequently.
