There are five basic measures for online marketing: 1. Number of unique visitors. 2. Number of visits to a particular website. 3. Number of page views (a website usually consists of multiple pages, so page views are more specific than number of visits). 4. Number of ad views (i.e. number of page views multiplied by the number of ads on that page). 5. Number of clicks on a particular ad (which usually acts as a link to the ad owner?s website).
