ON THE JOB TRAINING (OJT)

Definition and Citations:

Training provided to inexperienced employees during the initial stages of employment. This is usually delivered by a professional trainer or an experienced employee, and typically consists of “hands-on” training. If supported by classroom teaching, the classroom portion is considered “off the job” training.
