What is NITRATE POLLUTION?

Excessive nitrates amounts washed out from inorganic fertilizers cause water contamination. These are the most commonly sold and used fertilizers. Suspected in infant blood poisoning and stomach cancer in older persons, these compounds cause eutrophication.
