What is LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS (LPG)?

Butane and propane as petroleum gases are usually a liquid under pressure when stored and transported. LPG does not require cooling to be liquefied. Contrast to liquefied natural gas (LNG). Also known as liquefied refinery gases.
