What is EXHIBITION?

In Scotch law. An action for compelling the production of writings.In ecclesiastical law. An allowance for meat and drink, usually made by religiousappropriators of churches to the vicar. Also the benefaction settled for the maintainingof scholars in the universities, not depending on the foundation. Paroeh. Antiq. 304.
