ERP functionality includes product planning, materials and parts purchasing, inventory control, distribution and logistics, production scheduling, capacity utilization, order tracking, and planning for finance and human resources. Interfaces with manufacturing to act as an extension of manufacturing resource planning (MRPII). Known also as enterprise requirement planning.
