Conveyances which presuppose some other conveyanceprecedent, and only serve to enlarge, confirm, alter, restrain, restore, or transfer theinterest granted by such original conveyance. They are releases, confirmations,surrenders, assignments, and defeasances. 2 Bl. Comm. 324.
