CONSANGUINEUS FRATER
Definition and Citations:
In civil and feudal law. A half-brother by the father’s side, as distinguished from frater uterinus, a brother by the mother’s side. Consanguineus est quasi eodem sanguine natus. Co. Litt. 157. A person related by consanguinity is, as it were, sprung from the same blood.
