Speed of a computer to traverse a number of evenly-spaced pulses generated by a computer’s clock to regulate the switching task of the circuits. Measured in megahertz (MHz) or gigahertz (GHz), clock speed is typically associated with the computer’s performance – the higher the speed, the more powerful the computer.
