What is BERMUDA OPTION?

An OPTION that can only be EXERCISED on specific dates prior to maturity (e.g., once every month, quarter, or year). Also known as a MIDATLANTIC OPTION. See also AMERICAN OPTION, EUROPEAN OPTION.
