The invoice in its adbridged form that is sent to the buyer before the delivery of the shipment, by the seller. It contains information on the goods, the weight, value and other related information. It is a form of a preliminary invoices that provides quotations for the purpose of customs, if the goods are imported. In contrast, normal invoices demand payments from the buyer.
