What is MANPOWER?

1. In General, this is the personnel available or engaged for a specific job or task, as a resource supply. 2. In Economics, this is the total labor force of a nation. A manpower surplus exists if there are more people than available jobs. A manpower deficit exists if available people are fewer than jobs. Includes both men and women.
