What is ADJUSTABLE RATE PREFERRED STOCK?

PREFERRED STOCK that pays investors a floating DIVIDEND that resets periodically (generally every quarter or every 49 days); the floating dividend is typically pegged to TREASURY BILL rates or some other recognized MONEY MARKET rate.
