What is ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

This system consists of an organizational structure with defined planning activities, responsibilities, verified practices, procedures, processes, committed resources, and proven standards built for this purpose. This purpose is employed in the formulating of an organization’s environmental policy and reaching both its short and long term goals. Examples of proven standards are ISO 14000 and BS 7750.
