PARASITE Definition & Legal Meaning

Definition & Citations:

An organism which obtains its nutrition by attaching itself to another living organism, known as a host. It survives on the host, usually causing harm or rendering diseases. A few of the parasites are known to live independently, while most of the parasites are dependent solely upon their hosts; i.e if the host dies, they die.
