What is OVERAGE?

1. General: An excess or surplus amount over what was requested. 2. Leasing: The amount paid to the landlord of a retail store on top of the rent, which is a percentage of the total sales made by the outlet. 3. Shipping: Merchandise that has been shipped in excess of what was ordered and stated in the shipping documentation.
