What is CANON RELIGIOSORUM?

In ecclesiastical records. A book wherein the religious of every greater convent had a fair transcript of the rules of their order, frequently read among them as their local statutes. A system or aggregation of correlated rules, whether of statutory origin or otherwise, relating to and governing a particular department of legal science or a particular branch of the substantive law.
