Upon successful completion, fellows may be permanently hired.
Salary will depend on the department, geographic region, and whether the position is entry level, expert, or management. For example, a human resources specialist may earn from $70,000 to $90,000 annually. A supervisor in electronics earns 80,000 to $105,000. Transportation Safety Officers (TSO) earn $30,000 to $43,000 annually. An information technology specialist will earn $60,000 to $95,000 per year.
